Site Sign-In and Muster
Crew tier and aboveIn the app: /attendance
Site Sign-In & Muster gives you a live list of who is on site, man-hours for your incident rates without a timesheet, and a one-press emergency roll call. Workers sign in by scanning a QR code at the gate; nobody needs a login.
1.Set up a site's code
- Open Site Sign-In and pick the job site. If you have none yet, add one under Job Sites first.
- Press Print Sign-In QR and post it at the entrance.
- If a posted code is lost or misused, press Regenerate. The old codes for that site stop working, so reprint the sign-in, induction, acknowledgment and chemical lookup codes.
2.Sign people in and out
- A worker scans the code and enters their name, and optionally their company or subcontractor, trade and phone number. They are signed in.
- At the end of the day they scan again and press Check out. You can also press Check Out next to anyone in the On Site Now list.
- For people who forget, an admin can set Auto check-out in Company Settings, between 8 and 24 hours after sign-in. It runs once a day and caps their time at that limit.
3.Use the daily record
- On Site Now shows everyone currently signed in with their company, trade and time on site. Today shows every sign-in for the day with hours, and the total man-hours.
- Press Sign-In Sheet to print a day's sheet for a site.
- An admin can press Export CSV for the sign-in history.
- Man-hours for today also appear on the dashboard.
4.Run an evacuation (admin)
- Press Start Evacuation. We freeze the roll call from who is on site right now.
- At the same time we alert everyone signed in (on the phone number they typed), every worker assigned to the site, and every login for that site. It is sent by text or email if a delivery provider is set up on your instance; otherwise the page tells you it was recorded but not delivered, and you tell the crew directly.
- As people reach the muster point, mark each one Safe. Anyone unmarked stays listed as Missing.
- Press All Clear — Return to Work. Everyone alerted gets the all-clear and the roll call is saved to the record.
Common questions
- What if there is no signal at the gate?
- Sign-in needs a connection. Keep a paper sheet at the gate as a backup and enter it later, or post the code somewhere with coverage.
- Does sign-in check the name against the roster?
- No. The name typed is what is recorded. A name that matches nobody on the roster is still a valid sign-in, so people from a sub can sign in without being added first.
- Who gets the evacuation alert if nobody has a phone number on file?
- The page says so before you start: nobody to notify. The roll call still works; you tell the crew directly.
