Add-on, available on any tierIn the app: /generators/toolbox

The AI tools do the writing: they draft a toolbox talk, a job hazard analysis or an incident write-up, read hazards off a photo, pull the composition out of a supplier's safety data sheet, and answer questions about your own records. Everything they produce is a draft for a qualified person to check, edit and sign.

1.Generate a toolbox talk

  1. Open Toolbox Talks under AI Tools.
  2. Enter a topic, or pick one of the suggested ones, choose the language (English, Spanish or Haitian Creole) and press Generate.
  3. Read it and press Edit to change anything. You can add your own wording, site rules or company policy alongside the generated text.
  4. Press Download PDF or Print for the huddle. Record who attended on the Sign-off page under Training.

2.Draft a job hazard analysis

  1. Open JHA Generator and describe the task, for example replacing a rooftop HVAC unit.
  2. Press Generate JHA. You get the job steps, the hazards in each, the controls, the risk before and after controls, the general PPE, and any permits and training the task needs.
  3. Edit the steps, add or remove them, and save. Press Download PDF for the field copy.

3.Look up a hazard

  1. Open Hazard Lookup and enter a task, tool or piece of equipment.
  2. Press Find Hazards. You get the hazards, the controls and a note on what applies. Lookups are saved so you can find them again.

4.Use the hazard camera

  1. Open AI Camera. Press Start camera, or Upload Photo to use a picture you already took.
  2. Get close enough that the hazard fills the frame, then press Capture Photo and Analyze.
  3. You get the issues found, with the relevant standard where one clearly applies, the good practices seen, and a note on photo quality.
  4. We keep each analysis under Recent Observations on that page. It is a separate record from the Safety Observations module.

5.Use the AI inside other modules

  1. Incident Reports: Draft with AI fills in the form from a description you type or dictate, for you to review.
  2. Corrective Actions: Suggest with AI drafts the action from the finding.
  3. SDS Library: Extract from SDS reads the hazardous components out of the attached sheet.
  4. AI Assistant, in the sidebar: ask about incidents, training, exposures, who is on site or what needs attention. It reads your live data and never changes anything.

Common questions

Why don't I see the AI tools?
They are a paid add-on, off unless we have enabled it on your instance. Without it the AI Tools section is not in the sidebar, and the Draft with AI, Suggest with AI, Extract from SDS and AI Assistant buttons do not appear either. Ask us to turn it on.
Where does the text or photo go?
The description or photo you submit is processed by the AI provider we use to produce the draft, and the result is stored in your instance. Our privacy policy, linked in the footer, covers this.
Is there a limit on use?
We meter AI use against a monthly ceiling to stop a runaway. If it is reached, the AI tools pause until the next month and the rest of the app is unaffected.
Can the AI tools decide anything for me?
No. They draft. Recordability, the controls on a JHA and what to do about a finding are decided by you.
