Subcontractor Onboarding

Subcontractor Onboarding lets a new worker complete your site induction on their own phone at the gate: read the site rules, tick each acknowledgment, sign, done. Under the multi-employer policy a sub's exposure can become your citation, so the record of who was inducted and when matters.

1.Write the induction (admin)

  1. Open Onboarding and go to Induction Content.
  2. Write what a new worker must read before starting: site rules, emergency procedures, muster points, required PPE and who to report to.
  3. Add the acknowledgment checklist, one line per item, for example "I will wear required PPE at all times". The worker must tick every one.
  4. Save. There is one induction for the company; every site's code opens the same content.

2.Post the code at each gate

  1. Pick the site and press Print Induction QR.
  2. A worker scans it, enters their name, company, trade and phone, reads the induction, ticks each item and signs with a finger if you want a signature.
  3. Press Regenerate if a posted code is lost. The old codes for that site, including sign-in, acknowledgment and chemical lookup, stop working.

3.Check who has been inducted

  1. Completed Inductions lists every completion for the site: name, company, trade, phone, what was acknowledged and the signature.
  2. We show the most recent 500 on the page. An admin can press Export CSV for the full record.

Common questions

Does completing an induction add the worker to the roster?
No. The induction is a record of its own. Add the person on the Workers page if you want to track their training and incidents.
Can I have a different induction per site?
Not today. The content is company-wide, so write site-specific rules into the text under a heading for each site.
